THE FILTRON
|
Did you know that there is a clean water shortage in the
world?
4000 babies die each year in the third
world because their water is contaminated with fecal coli form, e coli, and
other pathogens.
There is hope. HEART for the Nations
is helping to manufacture filters and distributing them to the indigenous in
nineteen countries.
The Filtron is fabricated around the world
with technical assistance from Potters for Peace. We are located in the
following countries:

In 2005 Hurricane Stan devastated half of Guatemala. The
water system was destroyed in Panajachel where HEART for the Nations works. Due
to the generosity of St. Columlbkill Parish in Boyertown, PA, HEART was able to
supply 500 water filters to families greatly in need. |
